Kathleen Rose Lambrix

January 29, 1987 ~
March 31, 2021

A beloved daughter of Christ who was called home before we were ready to see her go.

Kathleen passed away peacefully in the presence of family on the evening of 30 March, 2021.

She was a vibrant, loving woman who committed her life to the service of others, and the American people. After graduating from Peninsula Catholic High School in Newport News, VA she enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2005, where she was trained as an Electronics Technician. She remained on active duty with the Navy for 12 years, completing tours aboard the USS Rainier and the USS Bataan, and shore assignments with Fleet Weather Center Norfolk, Naval Support Activity Bahrain and Navy Recruiting District Seattle. During her time on active duty she received various unit and personal awards, including multiple awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, multiple awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the distinction of being the Naval Support Activity Bahrain Junior Sailor of the Year for 2013.

After leaving active duty, she continued her work for the Department of the Navy as a contractor and federal civil service employee. Her most recent position was working as a Construction Manager for Naval Facilities Command at Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii. She also continued her life of service by volunteering her time with the Veterati Organization where she provided mentorship to service members transitioning from the armed forces.

She most enjoyed spending her time traveling, cooking and sewing and spending time with her family. Kathleen is missed and survived by a large family, including her husband Calvin whom she was married to for six years, and her four children: Dane (13), Liberty (5), Lincoln (1) and Centennial (11mo). Her life was celebrated and honored in a private memorial on April 2, 2021 in her family home she shared with husband and children in Allendale, Michigan.
