Brenda Sue Larson

Brenda Sue Larson, age 82, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Chelsea, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, and is now reunited with her husband of 57 years, Darrell “Ken” Larson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Oren Wireman.

Brenda was a classy, loving, and strong woman with an independent spirit. Family was deeply important to her, especially her grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly. Her life was quietly grounded in faith, reflected in the way she loved others and lived with integrity. An avid golfer, she proudly supported Detroit sports and was a devoted fan of the University of Michigan. She spent many years as the longtime comptroller at Renosol before retiring, remembered for her strong work ethic and gracious spirit. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey and Wendy Larson, Mark and Tammy Larson, Scott and Amy Larson; grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe, West, Ruby; sister, Linda Lou Moore; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jeane Larson, Gary and Mary Larson; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A private burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea, MI.   A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Faith Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Brenda.
