Julius Haveman

Julius Haveman, age 94, of Zeeland, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 24, 2020. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude; son-in-law, Ken Tolman; siblings, John, Arnold, Marvin and Evelyn Lucas. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Bea; his children, Bob and Nancy Haveman, Dave and Ruthann Haveman, Judy Driesenga, Ed Haveman, Lavonne and Larry Berghorst, Vern and Dutch Weenum, Donna and John Savage, Mary and Dave Geerlings; 22 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Wedeven, Gerald Haveman, Gary and Carolyn VanHill, Wilma VanOeveren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Julius was born and lived on the same farm all of his life. He farmed and raised dairy cattle for many years. In addition to dairy farming, he also worked at the Bauer Feed Mill until its closing. He was a dedicated and faithful member of North Blendon Christian Reformed Church and served for many years as both Elder and Deacon. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11 am at North Blendon Christian Reformed Church, 7284 Taylor St., Hudsonville with Rev. Aaron Vriesman and Rev. Chris Timmer officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-11 am prior to the service at church. The family also respectfully requests that masks be worn for the safety of all involved. Burial in Allendale Township Cemetery.
