Julian R. Arizola Sr.

Julian R. Arizola, Sr.,  age 84, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018, surrounded by his family.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Hortencia; children, Julian Jr. and Patricia Arizola, Irene Arizola, Robert Arizola, and Priscilla and Ramiro Urbina; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Michael Arizola, Emiliana Urbina (Marcus), Andrea and Edgardo Flores (Alexzander, Edgardo Jr.), Maxxwell and Julia; brother, Jimmy and Bertha Arizola; sisters-in-law Olivia Arizola and Barb Arizola, brother-in-law Gume and  Rosa Anez; special nieces and nephews, Rafael, Pina, Becky, Hector, Venturita, Jesse, George, Janie, and Marcial; special friends Danny, Ricardo, Bennett, and Tom; and many other family and friends.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 17, 11 am at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1630 Godfrey Ave SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Stephen Dudek presiding.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW., with a Rosary Service at 8pm, and also on Monday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to San Juan Diego Academy.
