Julia Anne Tiemann

Julia Anne Tiemann, age 85, of Jenison, was welcomed to her heavenly home on Friday, October 13, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her sons:  Rodney Paul (November 2013), Frederic William II (March 2017); brother and sisters: Paul, Mavis and Audrey.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Harrison Sr.; children: Kathleen (Gayle Baldwin) Tiemann, Harrison Jr. (Sharon) Tiemann, Barbara (Daniel) VanWylen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law:  Marlene (Allan) Hartman, Donna Schwarzenberg, Ralph (Marilyn) Andree; several nieces and nephews.  Julia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.  Julia loved knitting, backyard cookouts, camping, and traveling.  She was also a charter member of New Hope Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. David Rufner officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
