Judith Kwantes

Judy Kwantes, age 54, of Jenison, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. She joins her grandson, Noah and her father, Tom in Heaven. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, John Kwantes; her children, Becky and Mark Garnaat, Rian Kwantes, Matthew and Abbigail Kwantes, Michael and Megan Kwantes, Mitchell and Randa Kwantes, and Barry Kooistra and his daughter, Stella. She was “Nana“ to Ella, Jacob, Brielle, Madelyn, and Claire. Judy is also survived by her parents, Donna and Phil Hayes, Ann Dawson; and many family members and friends. Visitation will be Friday, December 4, from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, December 5, from noon-3 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. A private family graveside service will take place in Blendon Township Cemetery.
