Juanita Murillo

Juanita Murillo, aged 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Porfirio and daughter, Francisca; brother, Daniel Munoz. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Dave and Gloria Murillo, Delia and Homero Rodriguez, Elias Murillo, Linda Murillo, Lori and John Fernandez, Luci and Jorje Villa; grandchildren: Priscilla and Chad Jones, Liza and Ryan Ellis, Eric Murillo, Anthony Rodriguez, Lori Rodriguez, Marilyn Rodriguez, Lucy and Anbrocio Ledesma, Juan and Carrie Fernandez, Delia and Jonathan Jones, Nicolas and Amy Fernandez, Raquel Villa; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters: Juanita Vasquez, Sara Garza, Rebecca and Javier DeLeon; and many nieces and nephews. Juanita was a hairdresser for many years at her own salon and later in life she worked at Amerikam as a parts assembler.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Joseph the Worker, 3138 Birchwood SW, Wyoming with Rev. Steven Cron, celebrant. Relatives and friends may visit the family Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with a rosary at 8 p.m. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
