Joyce Van Der Kolk

Joyce Van Der Kolk, age 89, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin; parents, Carl and Claudia Klawiter; siblings, Lucille Lowing, Jack Klawiter, Elmer Klawiter, Arthur Klawiter, Lois Klawiter, Ralph Klawiter, Gerald Klawiter, Rudy Klawiter, Tom Klawiter, and Susie Grossenbacher; and her uncle and aunt, Bill and Martha Hoag. Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Leo and Iva Klawiter, Walt and Marsena Klawiter, Judy and Milton Swainston; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Roger Colter officiating. Burial will take place at Forest Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 21 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. An additional hour of visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army.
