Joyce Rosema

Joyce Rosema, age 75, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 06, 2025, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She cherished time with her loved ones and drew deep strength from her church and Christian friends. Joy loved cooking for her family and gathering with others. Throughout her life, she remained strong in her faith relying on God for guidance. She especially cared for young children taking on a role as Sunday School teacher and later a caretaker for many children. She also assisted her husband for many years in their land surveying business. Joy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Maurice Rosema; children: Kenneth (Danielle) Rosema, Jeffrey (Geia) Rosema; and granddaughters, Talyn Rosema and Lillian Rosema. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. with Pastor Doug Van Bronkhorst officiating. Burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, December 11 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Central Wesleyan Church Mission Fund.
