Joyce Coulter

Died 2/17/2025 in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Jackson - (2004) retired Master Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force; his dedicated wife of 48 years and her loving mother, Mabel Jackson - (2020).

Joyce is survived by her 3 sons: Mathew Oberlin, Caleb Coulter, Benjamin Coulter, and her 1 daughter: Rebecca Kerr-King. 

Joyce struggled with lifelong mental health issues, yet always faced adversity with determined independence and motivation to find humor within each challenge faced. In her youth, Joyce was a regular guest on "The Stan and Haney Show", 96K-Rock Radio Station in Estero, FL. She was affectionately given the stage show pseudonym, "Crazy Joyce." 

Joyce enjoyed spending time at the beach and going on adventures with her loving boyfriend, Tony Mulbrecht, with whom she was able to spend the end of her unique journey on earth with. Joyce cherished all of her children and truly enjoyed being a Grandmother. 

She will be remembered for both her Silly as much as her Sass, and for her Brave and Beautiful BIG Heart!
