John Reynolds, age 72 of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away suddenly at his home on June 8th, 2025, one day before his 73rd Birthday. He was born on June 9th, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Waldo and Agnes Reynolds. John spent more than five decades in the swimming pool industry. Alongside his beloved wife and partner, they proudly owned and operated Under The Sun Pools for more than 22 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, deep industry knowledge, and lasting connections he built with customers, colleagues, and friends throughout the years. John and Linda were inseparable (with Sophie, their dog) true partners in every sense. They spent every single day together, whether working side by side, relaxing at home, or enjoying time with family. Their bond was a rare and beautiful thing. It was the foundation of everything John cherished most. John was known for his incredible memory, larger-than-life personality, and his unmatched gift for storytelling. He was the life of every party and could spark a conversation with anyone. John also had a deep love for sports and fishing, which he loved sharing with others. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Reynolds; daughters Tracy (Brian) Kole, Katie (Shane) Kennedy; stepdaughter Sarah (Joel) Kwiatkowski; and stepson, Aaron (Adrienne) Moffett. John was a devoted grandfather to Erica Jeffrey, Kendall Kennedy, Ryleigh and Taylor Kole, Claire Kennedy, Miriam, and Fiona Moffett. Sister Jane (Rick) Miles. John’s sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His voice, his laughter, his presence- so full of life and love- will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 from 3-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming to share stories, laughter, and celebrate the vibrant life John lived. This will be a time to remember, reconnect, and honor him in the way he would have wanted- surrounded by the people he loved.--
