John Kennedy Darnell

John Kennedy Darnell, age 60, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 18, 2024.  He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm.  He later worked as a police officer in Cheyenne, Wyoming for many years with a great love of helping people.  He met his wife, Stephanie in 1997 and moved to Michigan to be with her in 2001.  He was a devoted husband.  He enjoyed archery, fishing, target shooting, camping, and gaming.   

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years, Stephanie; children:  Cullen Johnston, Andrew Johnston, Moira Darnell; grandchildren: Zachary Johnston; brother, Stephen Darnell; sister, Lisa; niece; Emily Darnell; canine companions: Coda, Tika, Misha.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Patricia Darnell. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date
