John H.  Groelsema

Groelsema, John H. John H. Groelsema, aged 94, a servant of Jesus Christ, went home to Glory on Monday, January 21, 2013.  He was preceded in death by his wives, Marie B. and Clara B.; son-in-law, Marv Yonker.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Lee Yonker, Gary and Wilma Huizenga, Jan and David Luyk, Beth Rupp, Robert and Marie-Cecile Groelsema, Cynthia Schipper, Tom and Sheri Groelsema; 19 grandchildren;  17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Donald and Ethel Beach-Groelsema; a loving Christian friend, Jeanette Dyk; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11am at Bethany United Reformed Church, 5401 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming with Rev. Arthur Besteman and Rev. Casey Freswick officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Zion Christian School or Faith Hospice.
