John G. Baker

John Gleason Baker, age 65, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Baker II and Terry Thompson. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal and Adam Inlay; grandchildren, Angela Timmer, Eliana Corpe, Addison Inlay; stepmother, Mae Baker; brothers, Paul Baker, Ron Thompson, Joe and Chris Baker, Pete and Sandy Baker; many nieces and nephews. John retired from General Motors after many years of service. He loved fishing, NASCAR, and the Detroit Tigers. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
