
John Jenny, age 60, of Kentwood, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the anniversary of his mother’s birthday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gertrude “Bea” Jenny, brother Joseph Jenny, nieces, Kristi and Bobbie Jo Bridges. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Beth and Don Grundy, Maggie Jenny, Kathy Bridges, Bernadette and Dean Norden, Diane and Valdis Vilums, Janet Jenny, Bob and Robin Jenny; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and his companion cats, Mama and George. John was a warm, loving brother and uncle. He had a servant’s heart and would do almost anything for anyone who needed his help. He loved to pull pranks on friends and relatives; he once put a speaker behind the toilet and then talked to them when they sat down. He was an animal lover who enjoyed feeding the ducks and squirrels from his deck. He was known to his family and friends as the gourmet burger man because he would cook his homemade recipe and then top it with his homemade olive sauce. He was also a music lover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 14, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Crash’s Landing.
