John De Roos

John Edward De Roos, age 81, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Beverly; his parents, John and Wesselina (Vlug) De Roos. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Debbie De Roos, Darlene and James Walquist, David and Jenhi De Roos, Dawn and Mike Lytle, Diana and Dan Johnson; eight grandchildren; sister-in-law, Chris and Ken Kreiser; and several nieces and nephews. John was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren. John also loved volunteering at both church and school. A private family memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Marcia Elders officiating. Burial Rosedale Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
