John Boes

John Boes, age 89, of Granger, IN, formerly of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine and his daughter, Sandy Shelner. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Debbie Neff, Daniel (Janice) Boes, Janice (Mark Pruiksma) VanderWagen; son-in-law, Ralph Shelner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Young, Carol (Al) Perkins, Bonnie (Roger) Palmitier; sister-in-law, Marilyn Williams; and brother-in-law, Robert Rood. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 West Leonard Road, Coopersville, MI, with Pastor Robert Porterfield officiating. Their nurses and staff were instrumental in providing John with comfort and excellent care over the last several months of his life.
