Johanna Fritz

Joanne Fritz, age 90, of Wyoming, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021. She loved to tell stories of the past and spend time in her yard. Joanne also enjoyed reading and word searches, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene W. Fritz; her parents, Arien and Ann Hoogerwerf; sister and brother-in-law, Adriana and Andrew Kommer Jr; brother, Johannes Hoogerwerf; and great grandson, Branden Fritz. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rick and Joyce Fritz, Barb and Steve Barksdale, Steve and Jan Fritz; grandchildren, Rick and Jeni Fritz, Shannon and Jody Rollens, Chad Barksdale, Kim and Phil Szczepanski, Sara and Troy Kasal; great grandchildren, Becky Fritz, Amanda and Tanner Anderson, Chelsea Rollins, Ashley Barksdale and fiance, Jeff Gort, Trista and Arlissa Kasal; five great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Hoogerwerf; brother, Ronald and Marlena Hoogerwerf; sisters-in-law, Rosemary and Tom Grego, Beverly and Stephen Huyge; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Chapel of Resurrection Cemetery.
