
Joan Kremers, age 91, of Grandville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Joan was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She was blessed with the gift of cooking and enjoyed baking, and canning, making many wonderful meals and baked goods for her family and friends. Joan had a keen knowledge and natural ability for knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Many came to her over the years to have her help with their projects. Joan also had a green thumb especially for growing flowers and could bring any flower or plant back to life. She had a heart for taking care of her animals, especially her beloved pets. Above all, her devotion to her family and love for Jesus was evident to all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Paul W. Kremers; children, Ronald Kremers, David and Michelle Kremers, Janice and David Potter; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Gerie and Ray Breen, Wilma Poelman, Bob Rinzema, Ann Keller; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Henry VanTil, Ann and Don Aardema; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Arnie and Bernie Rinzema, Irv Poelman, Max Keller, and Julie Rinzema. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Hanley Christian Reformed Church, O-372 Jackson St., Grandville, with Rev. Joe Vanden Akker officiating. Burial Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, July 14, from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also from 10-10:45 prior to the service at church on Friday.
