Joan Edna Hansen

Hansen, Joan Joan Edna Hansen, age 86, of Allendale, went home on Tuesday, October 29, 2013.  She was born April 1, 1927 to Joe and Edna Konyndyk of Wyoming Michigan.    Joan is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kern Hansen; children, Rudy (Steve, preceded) Bengtson, Belinda (Dr. William Schipper, preceded) and Robert Schipper; Step Children, Curtis (Carol) Hansen, William (Kimberly) Hansen, Hope Gordon; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; brother Robert (Beth) Konyndyk.  She was also preceded in death by her step children, Pamela Pleiness, Faith Hansen, Victor Hansen; sister, Marion “Pic” Webster. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 2 PM at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651  Scott Street  with Rev. Gary Van Koevering, officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SALT ministries.
