Jim Henry Koning

James Henry Koning age 80, of Grand Rapids, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 15, 2015.  Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Fran, and their children: Jerry and Cathy Koning, John and Cathy Koning, Joanne and Rev. Dale VanDyke, Jim and Sarah Koning; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; siblings: Otto and Alta Koning, Casper and Norma Koning, John and Susan Koning, Jackie and Nelson Lemon; sisters-in-law, Audrey Reitsma, and Pat DeVries. Jim is preceded in death by sister-in-law Carol Koning and grandchild, Jolene Koning.  Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8, with a service on Thursday 11:00 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Rev.
