Jessie   Brouwer

Brouwer Jessie Jessie Lorraine Brouwer, age 90, formerly of Allendale, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Brouwer, and her daughter, Barbara Ann Anderson.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family. Jessie was a long time dedicated employee of LaVeens Department Store in Standale for over 30 years.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda and Clay Van Riper, Allan and Marilyn Brouwer; son-in-law, Brian Anderson; grandchildren, Deb and Richard Gray, Christopher Ott, Corey and Rachel Brouwer, Andrea Brouwer, Tammi Anderson, Jen Anderson; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Rossi, Mattie Cline; sister-in-law, Betty Brouwer; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11am on Saturday, at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale with Rev. Steve Demers officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home, as well as on Saturday from 10-11 am 1 hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Lukes Society, Olancho, Honduras.
