Jerome Joseph Rademacher

Jerome Joseph Rademacher, aged 87 of Kentwood, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; brothers and sisters, Norman, Roman, Louie, Cecelia Platte, Marcella Fedewa, Alfred, Harold, Walter, and Arthur. He is survived by his children, Kathy Rademacher, Ken (Peggy) Rademacher, Keli (Mark) Herron; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Isidore Rademacher; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Jerry was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He previously served as a eucharistic minister and usher. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Jerry was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening. He loved wildlife and was an excellent cook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 – 52^nd Street SE, Kentwood with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere presiding. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood and also on Wednesday at the church from 10-11 am prior to the service.
