Jeanne Dwarshuis

Jeanne (Bronsema) Dwarshuis, age 94, formerly of Berwyn, Illinois, left her earthly body to join Jesus on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Jeanne lived and died in the blessed assurance of her salvation through Jesus Christ. She shared her gift of music with others through her organ playing at church services and various events. God blessed her with a truly compassionate heart, and she would prefer to be hurt rather than cause pain in others. Jeanne also found great joy and fulfillment in actively participating in Bible studies. Her love for her family was immense, and she was known for giving the very best snuggles. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cornelia Bronsema; brother, John Bronsema; son, Brian Dwarshuis; and grandson, Aaron Frens. She will be dearly missed by her husband, John Dwarshuis; daughter, Lynn and Bob Frens; son, John and Diana Dwarshuis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Micah and Mackenzie Frens (Caden, Madison), Noah Frens, Caleb and Jenn Frens (Jael-Jeanne, Noah-Lynn). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Caleb Frens officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice.
