Jeanette DeVries

Jeanette DeVries, age 92, of Jenison went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; grandchildren, Kari DeVries and Timothy DeVries; siblings and in-laws, Peter and Josie Koole, Rev. George and Wilmina Lanting, Gertie Lanting, Peter and Alice Knott, Gerald DeVries, Emma DeVries, Jim DeVries, Ted DeVries. Jeanette will be lovingly remembered by her children, Herm and Lorraine DeVries, Don and Shelly DeVries, Ruth and Bryant Cox, Tom and Brenda DeVries, Mike DeVries; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pat DeVries, Martin DeVries, Don and Hilda DeVries, Shirley DeVries, Sue DeVries, Frank and Marie DeVries, Hank and Barb DeVries, Maurice and Arlene DeVries; extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 11 am at Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, 4320 40th St. SW, Grandville with Rev. Nathan Decker officiating. A private burial will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, September 2 from 6-9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Protestant Reformed Special Education.
