Janna Lee Peterson

Janna “Jan" Lee Peterson (Kleingeld), 73, of  Grandville, Michigan, passed away to be with the Lord on January 9, 2026. Born on June 23rd in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Richard and Phyllis Kleingeld, she was a devoted wife of 47 years to Jerry Peterson, a loving mother  to Eric (Sara) Peterson and Ryan Peterson, and grandmother to Eli and Evan Peterson.  Jan was  hard-working and dedicated. She spent over 30 years working at Borgman Ford, where she was known for loyalty and compassion. Despite her many responsibilities, she always made time for her family and friends.  Though Jan may not have liked being the center of attention, she deserves to have her years of love honored. She was a woman that loved her family, and she left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.  She is survived by her husband, sons, and grandchildren as well as many friends who will miss her dearly. We find comfort in knowing that Jan's legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the love she shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.  Family and friends are welcome to celebrate the life of Janna starting at 10 A.M. on Friday, January 16 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home at 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509 . Following this time of fellowship, a memorial service will take place at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Feeding America West Michigan.
