Janice Jenison

Janice Lynne (Rhodes) Jenison, age 80, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2023. Janice cherished her family and especially loved her grandbabies. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, talking to her relatives from Oregon on the phone, and spending time at the cottage on Little Sand Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Jenison; son-in-law, Randy Nylaan; and granddaughter, Breonna Jenison. She will be dearly missed by her children, Shelley Nylaan, Kristine and Ron Buning, James and Bridget Jenison; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne and Sharon Rhodes, Craig and Nancy Rhodes; sisters, Cindy Doubblestien, Cheryl and Tom Steele; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. The burial will take place at Jenison Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday, October 3, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Health Hospice.
