Janice A. Miedema

Janice A. Miedema, age 86, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Peter Miedema; her parents, Edward and Ila Connors; and brother, Edward Connors. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years (celebrated June 21), Donald; children, Douglas Miedema (Tammy), Debra Rottschafer (David), Donald Scott Miedema (Clark); her pride and joy grandchildren, Samantha Samuels (Mike), Justin Miedema (Stephanie), Blake Rottschafer, Paige Rottschafer; great granddaughter, Presley Samuels; and many extended family members. Jan volunteered for many years for the Salvation Army and enjoyed many years working for Rogers Department Store. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, July 21 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Don Van Slyke officiating.  Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army.
