After a full and blessed life, Janet is now pain-free and has joyfully entered into paradise on Saturday, December 12, 2020 to be with Jesus Christ and the rest of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gary Bertolin. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Karen and James Maxim, Sandy and Randy Randazzo, Cathi and Bruce Andrews, Connie Neason; grandchildren, Joel and Michelle, Shannon and Dave, Brynn and Kenny, Leigh and Brian, Stefanie and Dax, Justin, Haley and JS, Kara, Bridget, and Alec; great grandchildren, Chloe, Adilynn, Elise, Sophia, Avery, Jame, Casen, Marlee and an anticipated arrival of a baby boy in March; and extended family and friends. She retired after driving a school bus for many years. Janet was so grateful to be able to travel with her husband, Gary, enjoying time spent with family and friends. She found fulfillment and joy in her Christian life. Her family and faith came first. She helped many over the years. She was a true friend to many, always keeping in touch with everyone. Once a friend, always a friend for life. Her love for sewing and helping others led her to her involvement with Quilts of Compassion which then turned into making quilts for so many family and friends. A service to celebrate Janet’s life will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Holland.
