Jane Delores Murphy

Murphy, Jane Delores Jane Delores Murphy, age 84, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 surrounded by her family.  Jane was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, and sister who treasured her family.  She was blessed with the gift of conversation and humor, making many wonderful memories with family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Al Murphy; and her brother, Earl Stephens.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kathy and Mark Van Staveren, Tim and Linda Murphy; grandchildren, Angela and Jim Byrne, Sarah and Ryan Stout, Erica Barrett, Shaun Murphy and fiancée, Samantha, and Brittany and Michael Cooley; great grandchildren, Hannah, Elliana, Isaac, Caleb, Brady, Kaemin, and Kennedy; brother, Clair Stephens; close cousin, Jean Walton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  A celebration of Jane’s life will be held on Friday 11 AM at Woodhaven Reformed Church, 3959 68th Street SW, Byron Center with Rev. Dr. Steve Petroelje officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family during a memorial visitation on Thursday from 7-9 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW and on Friday from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center.
