James Modderman

James Scott Modderman, age 61, of Allendale, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home. He was born March 30, 1963. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Geraldine Martinie. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Sue Modderman; sons, Austin Modderman and Natalie Grabman, Bret Modderman; his mother and stepfather, Joan and John Hecksel; twin brother, Jeff and Luanne Modderman; sister, JoDee and Troy Geldersma; mother-in-law, Phyllis Dykstra, sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Dykstra, Lonette Croff; many nieces and nephews, and many awesome friends. In honor of Jim’s wishes, cremation will take place. Jim’s wishes were to be present at his celebration of life service, which was held in July. The family would like to express thanks to all who came and supported Jim and his family. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Interim Hospice or Michele’s Rescue.
