Jacqueline Lee Oudbier

Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Oudbier, age 86, of Byron Center, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Austin Veldboom; second husband, Russ Oudbier; son, Greg Veldboom; daughter-in-law, Linda Veldboom; siblings, Herm, Mary, Betty, Ruth, Mae, and Carl. Jackie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ray and Kelly Veldboom, Steve Veldboom, Melinda Veldboom, Jack and Christy Veldboom; stepchildren, Marilyn and Darrell Cass, Don and Jane Oudbier, Mike and Grace Oudbier, Sharon and Chuck Cote; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Kathy VanBelkum; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Jackie loved travelling, painting, and spending time with her family. She expressed her faith in many ways particularly through her card-writing ministry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, at 11 am at Second Byron Christian Reformed Church, 7588 Byron Center Ave, SW with Rev. Paul Hoekstra officiating. Burial at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, July 16, from 6-9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, and from 10:00 - 10:45 am at the church on Saturday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Second Byron CRC or Bowen Mills Chapel.
