Peterson, Isaiah Emmanuel Isaiah Emmanuel (God is Salvation) (God is with Us) After 5 ½ months, our sweet boy went home to Jesus early Friday morning. Isaiah was born 12 weeks early due to blood circulation complications in the umbilical cord. Isaiah was 1 lb 14 oz when he was born and made it all the way to 7 lbs. Isaiah was a fighter and had several non-preemie health battles that he continued to overcome. Despite all these battles, Isaiah was always a peaceful, wide eyed, alert little boy. He was feisty and intelligent. Isaiah was strong willed and always found a way to communicate to his parents what he wanted. He knew he was loved, and he loved his parents. Isaiah came into this world kicking and screaming and he continued to fight until his weary body could not take it anymore. Isaiah was a prophet of God. Isaiah’s name said it all. As parents, God led us to this name to strengthen our faith; little did we know that this little boy would touch the lives of hundreds and bring them to God. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46 Our beloved son Ben and Becky Peterson Visitation - Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive SW, Grandville, MI 49418 Service - Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, 1580 Ferndale SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544 Memorial contributions may be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
