Irene Alice VanderMeer

VanderMeer, Irene Alice Irene Alice (Polmanteer) VanderMeer, age 90, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, December 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert. Irene was a kind and gentle lady that treasured her family. Her contagious smile was evident to all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Alan and Therese VanderMeer, John and Ruth VanderMeer, Gail Luyk, Linda and Jerry Lanning, Patricia and Terry Moore; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Craft, Catherine Trainner; brother, Arnold Polmanteer. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
