Imojene Josephine Clark Woodman

Imojene Josephine Clark Woodman was born in Brayton, Iowa on July 5, 1925 and peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Railside Assisted Living Center in Byron Center, MI. She was a longtime resident of Marne, MI. Imojene was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dean Woodman; granddaughter, Jessica; great granddaughter, Amelia; her parents, and her 4 sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kathleen (Lon) Tikkanen, Cindy (James) Vanden Hoek, Randall Woodman, Sandra (Conrado) Coipel; grandchildren, Barry (Becky), Brandon (Christina), Shawn, Erin, Cassandra (Michael), Amanda, Kelly (Dakota), Conrad Jay (Jennifer), Candice, Megan, Nicole, Carmen, and Ryan; 11 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gail  Woodman TeVelde; and several nieces and nephews. Imojene was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She worked for many years at McInerney Spring and Wire Company. Imojene was a very giving and caring person who was always helping those in need. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26, at 11 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2230 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, with Fr. John Vallier Celebrant.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) with a prayer service at 7 PM.   Memorial contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
