Ilene Schumacher

Ilene Ann Schumacher, age 91, of Jenison, passed away at St. Ann’s Home on Sunday, June 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Ilene was a bookkeeper for many years. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ken Schumacher; parents, Edward and Ann Rebone; sister-in-law, Marie Fowler; brother-in-law, Bill Berryhill; special godchild, Patty Seeley; and special cousin, Norma Bartz. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Martin and Suzan Schumacher, Terry and Jacqueline Schumacher, Jim and Marlene Schumacher, Cindy and Phil Cole; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Laura and Brandon Anderson (Liam, Amelia), Michael and Rubi Schumacher (Isabel Ilene), Tara Gibbon, Rochelle Gibbon and Paul Shade, Krista Gibbon, Rachel and Scott Baldwin (Leo, Blake, Zoey), Jennifer Ilene and Grant Beach (Teddy), Josh Schumacher, Brian and Maddy Cole (Baker), Nathan Cole; sister-in-law, Oral Berryhill; a dear cousin, Judie Hess; and several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends at Mr. Burger. A private family farewell was held at MKD Funeral Home.
