Herold Toussaint

Herold Toussaint, age 60, of Grandville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026. Herold was a loving husband and father who deeply cherished his family. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his children and creating lasting memories together. Herold also loved traveling, and one of his favorite family trips was to Las Vegas, where he enjoyed visiting the casino and playing his favorite game, Roulette.

Known for his kind and selfless nature, Herold had a warm heart and truly loved everyone he met. He took great pride in his Haitian heritage and carried that pride throughout his life. A hardworking man, Herold was devoted to providing for his family and ensuring they were well cared for.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luimera Toussaint and mother, Lormicide Reserve. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 19 years, Tatiana Lopez; children, Herold Toussaint Jr., Jacob Toussaint, Gabriel Toussaint; brother, Desilhone Toussaint; sisters, Jeanine Toussaint, Louise Marie Toussaint, Celanie Toussaint, Dania Toussaint; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Raquel Larriuz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Miguel Maya, Adrian and Maryann Lopez, William and Amanda Larriuz, Ciara and Kirt Larriuz; nieces, Laula Preville, Tania Pierre, Christel Pierre; nephew, William Larriuz Jr.; and many other nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
