Herman Grooters

Herman J. Grooters, age 89, of Hudsonville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2025. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Donna; children, Deb and Tim Friend, Sue and Dan Lokker; grandchildren and great-grandchild, Josh and Stephanie Friend (Alex), David Friend, Abigail Friend, Scott Lokker, Chad Lokker; siblings, Marilyn and Don Prince, Karen and Earl Hale, David and Marianne Grooters, Sharon and Rick Schaafsma, Joanne and Jim Smith, Mary and Bruce Oosterhouse; sister-in-law, Marjorie Jeltema; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Lew Vander Meer officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jamestown Christian Reformed Church Benevolent Fund.
