Henry Wilcoxson, aged 88 of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord and is reunited with his wife of 63 years, Germaine, on Friday, July 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy (Charles) Albright, Kenneth Wilcoxson, Gordon (Jean) Wilcoxson, Betty Bright, and Darlene (Rex) Armstrong. He is survived by his children, Wayne (Susan) Wilcoxson, Ivan (Sara) Wilcoxson, Diane (Michael) Demory; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Delores (Carroll) Leys; and many nieces and nephews. Henry valiantly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was a loving, hard working family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Henry had a strong work ethic and worked his way through the ranks from die setter to superintendent at Reynolds Metals Company for over 30 years. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. Mike Alber, celebrant. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, on Monday from 4-7 pm with a vigil service at 6:30 pm.
