Henry   Terpstra

Terpstra, Henry Henry Terpstra, age 90, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.  He proudly served our country in WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie and two infant sons.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, David and Nancy Terpstra, Ron and Carol Terpstra, Mary and Harry Umstead; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Jacob and Marty Terpstra; sister-in-law, Ella Mae Terpstra; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center SW, Wyoming with Pastor Ken Havert officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 am prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Holland Home’s Fulton Manor.
