Henny Oosterveld

Henny Oosterveld, age 94, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Oosterveld; son, John Oosterveld; grandson, Matthew VanDyk; brother, Bernie Postma; and sister, Ipie Postma. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Laurie Oosterveld, Ingrid Zeerip, Irene and Tom VanDyk, Carol and Vincent Nelson; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members in the US and the Netherlands. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Bethel United Reformed Church, 8360 Cottonwood, Jenison with Pastor Steve Postma officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Right to Life.
