Helene J. Roskamp

Helene J. Roskamp, age 90, of Allendale, where she lived in the same home for all of her 90 years, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Alice Kraker; and brothers, Arthur and Josie Kraker, John and Theresa Kraker. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Bob; children, Ron and Susan Roskamp, Ellen (Roskamp) and Harry Dan; grandchildren, Andrew and Monica Roskamp, Alisha and Tom Bruggema, Kristin and Kaitlin Dan; great-grandchildren, Brendon, Carter, Makenna, and Emmett Bruggema; sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Bernard Henrickson, Janice and Roger Truttshel; brother-in-law, Marvin and Pat Roskamp; many nieces and nephews and a special nephew and niece, David and Nancee Kraker. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale), 6651 Scott St., with Rev. John Zwyghuizen officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, August 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
