Helen H.  Vogt

Vogt, Helen H. Helen H. Vogt, age 90, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Meinzer and Ralph Vogt; brother, Clarence Bendel.  Surviving are her children, Howard (Pat) Meinzer, Melvin (BJ) Meinzer, Ardi (Dan) Coby, Eleanora (Michael) Sherrington, Edward Vogt; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Daniel Bendel; brother-in-law, Ronald Newman, Sr.; nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Monday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Robert Weidmayer officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion, Roger B. Chaffee Post 154, 2327 Byron Center Ave., Wyoming 49519 where Helen was a lifelong member and Michigan’s Woman of the Year in 2008.
