Harvey W. Johnson

Harvey W. Johnson “Diggie,” age 73, of Wyoming, formerly of Jacksonville, FL, passed away at home on February 14, 2018 and now joins his son and family.  Harvey proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by his son, David; mother, Opal.  He will be deeply missed by his wife, Denise, who has loved him for 38 years;  his children: Robin Lynn (Timmy) Batts, Jason Johnson, Bryan (Shelly) Johnson, Brian (Suzie) Haugen, Christofer (Michelle) Haugen; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Jimmy (Marie) Johnson, Gene (Janice) Johnson, Daniel (Robyn) Johnson, Paul (Sharon) Johnson and Geneva Wennell Miller, Dale (June) Johnson; Brother-in-law, Scott (Glenda Johnson) Brown; sister-in-law, Teri Johnson many nieces and nephews.  Harvey retired from Bentler Automotive-Walter Haugen plant after 18 years.  According to his wishes, a burial will take place in Florida.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, February 19, 2018 from 1-7 p.m. at UAW Hall, 1320 Burton St. SW, Wyoming.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
