Harry Lee Bosscher

Harry Lee Bosscher, age 95, of Jenison went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Harry proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in WWII. He was preceded in death by his wives, Jane (Ash) and Sherlene (Kloostra VanDam), as well as his eight siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Peggy (and the late Joe) Hayes, Bette and Robert Rabe, Janice Bosscher, Thomas and Sheila Bosscher, Beverly and Robert Papke, Joy and Mark Jurries, Gail and Aaron Besemer; step-children, Sheryl and Robert Mulder, Richard and Karen VanDam, Ron and Cindy VanDam, David and Beth VanDam; sisters-in-law, Henrietta VanWingerden, Fran Pruis; brother-in-law, Gord Kloostra; his dearly loved cousin, Jean Kempema; and his special friend, Esther Bosscher. Harry was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church, 3777 Ivanrest Avenue SW, Grandville, with Rev. Greg Ten Brink officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Harry’s family Friday, January 25, from 5-8 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Warriors Set Free, Faith Hospice or the Sunset Manor Benevolence Fund. Harry’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Sunset Manor and at Faith Hospice for their loving care of our dear Dad.
