Harriet Longberg

Our sweet mama, Harriet, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was born on June 4, 1930, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Harriet loved and served her Lord by being part of many different ministries throughout her life. She always had a smile on her face even though she dealt with chronic pain daily. Harriet was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a gifted listener and cared about people, demonstrating Christ’s love through her prayers, words, and actions. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Longberg. She is survived by her three children, Carol and Denny Bishop, Sheryl and Don VanderZouwen, Daniel and Kathlee Longberg; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held at Grandville Cemetery. A celebration of Harriet’s life will be held on Thursday, June 26, at 7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor James Wells officiating.
