
Harold Postma, age 92, of Jenison, passed away peacefully and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Barbara; brother, Donald Postma; sister, Joanne Nanninga; brother-in-law, Gerard Huissen. He will lovingly remembered by his children and grandchildren, Joel Postma and Michelle “Micki” Grandy (Rebecca and John Beld, Andrew and Natalie Postma, Rachel and Ken Gibbie), Linda and Ross DeYoung (Krista and Bradley Richter, Sarah and Eric Bolt, Leslie and Ben Kok), James Postma and Mary Trombley (Jessica and Matt Van Sweden, Jamie and Jefferey Knol, Samantha Postma, Joshua and Alexandra Postma); 21 great-grandchildren; sister, June Huissen; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raymond Nanninga, Arlaine Postma, Mary and B. Thomas Duthler; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church, 1571 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Rev. Michael Ten Haken and Rev. Carl J. Bosma officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Ridgewood CRC. Harold’s family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of both Sunset Manor and Emmanuel Hospice for the exceptional care and love given to Harold.
