Harold “Mike” Anderson

Harold “Mike” Guy Anderson, age 90, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Flora (Juppstrum) Anderson; brother, Charles (Gail) Anderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sidney and Dorothy Lynema; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, George and Wilma Lynema; Bernard and Cora Flier, Vernon Ensing, Frank Vander Voord.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Martha Jennie Anderson; children, Diane Lynn and Michael Elliott, Sandra Kay and Larry Swanson, Michael Scott and Allyson Anderson; grandchildren, Jeff and Marcy Elliott, Jennie and Andrew Austin, Jeremy and Jayme Swanson, Jason Swanson, Sheri Whitten; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Barbara  VanderVoord; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janette Ensing, Sid and Sue Lynema, Arlene and Al Van Poppering; and many nieces and nephews.  Special appreciation is extended to Harold’s niece, Mary Fues (Vander Voord). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 Barrett St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Dale Fopma officiating.  Interment will be held at Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center.
