Harold John Plooster

Harold John Plooster, age 94, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Harold was a veteran of World War II and served in the cavalry in Germany. He was employed by Holwerda-Huizinga for many years. Harold was a pipefitter and a proud member of West Michigan Plumbers, Fitters & Service Trades, Local 174. He was a member of Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Jean. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, John and Deb Plooster, Jim and Cindy Plooster, Dave and Tamra Plooster; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Chidester. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Cindy Holtrop officiating. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, November 26, from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ridgewood CRC.
