Harold Bremer

Harold E. Bremer Jr., age 80, of Allendale, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 11, 2023. Hal was a kind and loving husband, dad, and grandpa. He was a faithful supporter of his family’s activities and was their biggest fan. Hal was blessed with a compassionate heart and could have a conversation with anyone he met. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy (Bob) Cohen, and his son-in-law, Glenn Oliver. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Susie; his children, Brenda Oliver, Christine (Larry) Worthington; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kyle, and Meghan Oliver, Dylan, and Skylar Worthington; his siblings, Becky and Bill Mapes, Gary and Sibrina Bremer, and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Grandville United Methodist Church, 3140 Wilson Ave. SW with Rev. Ryan Wieland officiating. Burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the PAN Foundation or to Grandville UMC.
